More Questions Than Answers

This segment of Spencer’s journey is one that doesn’t reveal answers that would further document man’s journey from Africa.  At this point in his story, he is confronted with a multitude of unanswered question. If indeed man did journey from Africa to Australia, just how was it accomplished?  How was he able to make this unbelievably long and arduous sojourn; traversing on foot across inhospitable terrain; weathering various harsh climatic differences to finally arrive on the coast of Australia…

Traveling more than 6,000 miles by sea, was just not a possibility…so, how?

Somethings are just a must when it time to gather your thoughts and ‘get on’ with writing. Spell check and word count  accessories are just a few of the ‘must have’s’ …  Well, recently I was doing my writing thing and I started searching for a synonym for a ‘word’ that I was using way to much in an article that I was composing.  And to my complete surprise, I stumpled upon a page that had just what the ‘doctor ordered’ and then some.  I was amazed at the number of synonyms that the THESAURASIZE tool produced.

Try it out, guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. Happy Posting!

This Christmas

This Holiday Season is really starting off with a Big Bang.  Christmas Movies are being aired daily, throughout the day … this year I didn’t have to wait for evenings in December to view a Christmas flick or settle for Xmas music that is played on the radio non-stop following Thanksgiving.  Both the Hallmark Channel and ABC Family have holiday movies with showings that are almost continuous.

Now I am not going to review any specific movie, because there are just so many.  Lately, my days have been filled with wonderful and entertaining holiday shows.  I have seen 2 of Santa’s brother, his daughter and his son; two versions of an endangered Santa village … each village facing public exposure; separated families reunited; and through the magic of TV,  more Xmas family gatherings than I could ever actually attend in any one season.

I think ‘my cup has actually runneth over” … but I haven’t hardly had enough.  So far thru that charismatic box, I have had plenty of snow; many cold and frosty evenings at home with the family; cut down and decorated loads of Xmas Tree’s; so many hot chocolate’s in front of a roaring fire that I actually believe I’ve gained some weight.  Sucks, I couldn’t be happier.

And that ‘feeling’, that ‘change’ that seems to happen among folks around Christmas is in the air, now.  I know I’m not imagining it, folks are warming up to each other … I’m seeing more smiles … people are becoming a little more curtious and gentle to each other.

Gosh, I wish we could bottle this feeling that is fluttering about, and sprinkle it around throughout the year.

Happy Holidays to All!
