-Fool Me Twice Shame On Me
Yesterday while checking out neighboring blogscapes, one just couldn’t help but notice that many of my neighbors have a prolifera of posts on their blogs addressing the impending elections and a lot of candidate bashing is in the air.
However, for the life of me, after the last 8 years of the republican rule and their unbelievable list of events, tragedies, the economic decline, deceptions…how could anyone anywhere want to continue to support a party with such a disappointing history.
OK, let’s highlight some of the pivotal moments over the past 8 years that this leadership has dragged us through.
- Before even getting sworn in, the fiasco at the polls…each term
- The questionable attack on the twin towers and the devastation that followed
- The bombing of the pentagon
- The steady rise of unemployment
- The rise in interest rates that has lead to families losing their homes
- The unbelievable wave of illegal immigrants crossing the border and entering this country…and you wonder what’s contributing to the rise in unemployment…hmmm
- The impeachment proceedings facing our President and Vice-President
- And the 8 year war that still marches on
Also have you noticed how WOMEN are throwing their support to the Republicans because they believe that it’s time a woman was in the White House. Quite a crafty move by the Republican.
Maybe, it is time 2 have a woman in office, but as I have said before the right woman whose supporting the right party.
People…take a look at the Republicans record over the last 8 years … that track record speaks volumes. If they were successful in their bid to again gain control of the White House … I shudder at what this might mean for this nation, hold on a minute … for this world.
