-Sir Reginald Kenneth Dwight
I’m gonna have a post coming in a couple of days that talks some more about Heather Headley, but as a result of some searching that I did about her, I unexpectedly can across this VID of her, performing a song by Elton John. Now, the song that she is singing was written and originally performed by this phenomenal individual, I mean as far as I am concerned he is nothing less than a living legend.
Straying here … just a tad, during a visit to NYC one year, I ran into an avalanche of people … I was bombarded by bodies as they were hurriedly making there way toward Madison Square Garden to see him perform. I was literally being smothered by hoards of people, but the saddest thing about this situation was that I also should have been among that throng, heading to MSG to have seen this Musical Icon.
But returning to the topic at hand, what grabbed me the most about this VID is his reaction to her rendering of his song … I really don’t think I am mistaken, but I think it took quite a bit of restraint on his part to avoid a stronger emotional response. He actually appeared to be glowing.
And can you imagine what a rush she must have felt, to receive such a warm acknowledgment from SIR ELTON …

Thanks…I am so glad you are enjoying them. Sorry for taking so long to answer you, this response was nestled in with my Akimet Spam and I almost deleted it.
I always try to give what included in that pile a ‘once over’ and this time, it paid off…8o)
